Full Time Qualified Timber Joiner Job Description

Full time position is available for a Timber Joiner in a high-end Silverdale based Timber Joinery company in the timber window and door manufacturing industry using the latest modern machinery.

As our newest Qualified Timber Joiner, you will assist in manufacturing a full range of timber joinery products including interior and exterior doors and windows, bi-folding doors, cavity sliders and more, ensuring the final product is of the highest standard.

To be successful in this role, you will be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail, as well as:

  • Being trade qualified with previous experience in a similar role
  • Being hardworking, reliable and honest
  • Being a problem solver and able to work to deadlines
  • Being able to read and interpret plans and CAD drawings accurately
  • Showing initiative
  • Being a team player and able to work well in a team environment
  • Having experience working autonomously with great time management skills
  • Have a great attitude, sense of humour and plenty of drive
  • Experience training staff a bonus as we have a new Trainee Timber Joiner

You will need to be confident working autonomously and be able to put your hands to most tasks and be able to work in a small tight team environment lending a hand to others when required.

Responsibilities:

Very high-end bespoke work along with Sliders, Bifolds, Double hung windows and traditional exterior Joinery. You will be involved with all aspects of the job, not just part of a production line.

Experience required:

  • Must be qualified and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in timber joinery.
  • Well organised and confident with an eye for detail.
  • A passion for timber joinery, initiative, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
